New This Year! Runners Shop Kit Pick Up Bonus - We will give you your ferry ticket if you pick up your race kit at the Runners Shop. Tickets for additional family members will also be available for purchase. If you already have your ferry ticket you can use the separate Longboat Island Run entrance to the ferries.

Race Kit Pickup

All participants must pick up their race kits before the race. Please see times and location below.

We strongly encourage you to pick up your race kit and ferry tickets at The Runners Shop

If picking up race kits for family or friends, please bring a note/e-mail giving you authorization to do so.

Race day packet pick up will be available to those unable to pick up kits beforehand.

Start Time

The Kids' 1k run starts at 10:30am, following a warm up at 10:15.

The 5km race will start at 11:00am.

The 10km race will start at 11:15am.

Late Arrivals

PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT delay start times in order to accomodate late arrivals. We strongly recommend that you catch a ferry no later than 10:00am in order to ensure on-time arrival.

Course Information

The course...is really flat! Note the mix of grass, boardwalk and pavement on the course map.

Times are given at 1 mile and at 5km.

Course Accreditation

The Toronto Island 5k and 10k race courses are certified AAA by the Ontario Roadrunners Association.

Water Stations

Water stations will be set up at the 3k, 5k and 7.5k mark of the 10k race and at the 2.5k mark of the 5k race. Gatorade will be available at the finish line.

Race Bibs

Bibs must be pinned (unmodified and fully visible) to the front of your shirt and displayed throughout the entire race. Bibs are required to pick up baggage after the race and to get your post race food, so look after them!

Timing Chips

A disposable timing chip will be attached to your race bib. It requires no activation.

Finish Line Etiquette

Please keep moving once you cross the finish line to avoid congestion in the chute.

Baggage Check

Baggage Check is provided free to all runners near the finish line. Your bib number will be required to pick up baggage after the race. Baggage check will open at 9:30 a.m. on race day.
